THE TEACHING BODY:
AN EMBODIED MENTORSHIP INTENSIVE

Becoming the guide,
through your body’s wisdom

For current trainees and certified Mat Pilates (or other mat-based movement) instructors ready to step into the role of spaceholder, guide, and embodied leader.

This is not about performance or perfection. It’s about learning to lead from presence—through your voice, your body, your energy, and your ability to attune to the room.

Over the course of one immersive weekend, we’ll explore:

  • How to hold space with care, clarity, and groundedness

  • Cueing that comes from sensation, not scripts

  • Sequencing with breath, arc, and adaptability in mind

  • Teaching as relationship: between you, your body, and the people in the room

  • Practice teaching with supportive, embodied feedback

You’ll also receive a 90-minute integration session (held a few weeks later) to reflect, ask questions, and continue refining your voice with support.

You’ll leave with more confidence—not just in your technical skills, but in your ability to guide others from a place of deep listening and intuitive connection.

Format:

  • One weekend: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • July 18, 19, 20

  • 10 total contact hours

  • Small group (6–8 participants)

  • Optional paid mentorship available post-intensive

“Embodiment is not a method. It’s a relationship—with yourself, with the room, with the moment.”
